About the event
Cattle 101 is a Free workshop designed for young people aged 7 to 15, Hosted by the Hawkins Cattle Company in collaboration with the Black Cowboy Coalition, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
The Cattle 101 Workshop introduces Youth to the world of Cattle Ranching through both classroom-style learning and authentic ranch experiences. Participants will gain insight into cattle breeds, cattle care, and ranching practices. They will also experience hands-on daily ranch activities such as feeding, identifying cattle, and understanding animal care routines.
This workshop will be held in Bay City Texas. To make participation accessible, free transportation will be provided to and from Houston, TX.
